SITUATION

A pharmaceutical company had tight timelines to select a third-party logistics (3PL) partner for their upcoming launch of an oncology product.


Archbow was engaged to leverage our team’s expertise in evaluating the capabilities of potential 3PL providers and creating and managing a customized Request for Proposal (RFP).


Customized areas of expertise on RFP included:

  • Title capabilities and current 3PL Title and Non-Title customers serviced

  • Cold chain capabilities

  • Inventory accuracy and KPIs

Archbow began by interviewing internal stakeholders to gain product and commercialization goal insights.


A detailed RFP specific to the needs of the product was created and distributed.

Archbow consolidated and evaluated 3PL proposals from a pre-determined list of potential partners.


A comparative financial analysis on submitted pricing and payment terms was prepared and presented.


Archbow provided recommendations after a thorough RFP response analysis.
