With more than 25 years of pharmaceutical supply chain experience, Paul Furgal helps clients devise and implement successful commercial solutions. Throughout his career, he has acquired proficiency in specialty pharmacy and distribution contracting, cell and gene therapies, reimbursement hub development, market access, and biologic product launches. Today, he is able to provide a unique insider perspective and offer creative solutions to the supply chain challenges facing new products, such as cell and gene therapies.
Prior to joining Archbow, Paul worked at McKesson Specialty Health for 16 years. During that time, he worked in trade relations, built McKesson’s 3PL service offering, led business development, and was responsible for all strategic, commercial, and operational aspects of Supply Chain Solutions/Managed Distribution. He also created and led McKesson’s go-to-market cell and gene therapy solution for manufacturers. Before McKesson, Paul held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility with EMD Serono and Abbvie such as primary care sales representative, hospital sales representative, regional sales manager, branded product manager, managed care marketing, managed care account management, national trade director, and business unit director.
Paul has Bachelor degrees from the University of Windsor and Saint Bonaventure University. He lives in Southlake, TX with his family, a wife and four children (all sons!), who make life so full that he has time for little else.
