JR Buzzelli leverages 30 years of commercial pharma experience to help clients design and optimize access solutions. His broad expertise benefits clients by blending solution designs with appropriate consideration of demand and gross-to-net impact. During his career with both Big Pharma and start-up pharma companies, JR’s knowledge, roles, and responsibilities were proven in sales, marketing, managed markets, patient services, trade, distribution, HUB management, and pharmacy networks.
Before joining Archbow, JR worked at multiple start-up companies, maintaining both marketing and market access responsibility for Cipher Pharmaceuticals and EPI Health. In these roles, he focused on demand generation and delivering P&L margins. During his Big Pharma tenure, he had P&L success leading marketing efforts for various therapeutic areas across five companies: Novartis, Bayer, Johnson and Johnson, Organon, and Pharmacia. JR earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
JR lives in Charleston, SC, with his wife and children. In his free time, he enjoys sports, water activities, gardening, music, and movies with his family. He also stays active in his community at the local American Red Cross chapter and the school board.
